RESIDENCE CHATEAU ROYAL E DIPENDENZA ***
The Residence is the sympthetic restoration of the Château Royal, in Docteur Grappein street, in the town-centre, just near the church.
The building, whose original tower dates back to the eleventh century, is a listed national monument because of its historical importance.
Over the centuries the Residence has been a bishop’s palace, then home residence of the King Vittorio Emanuele II when hunting in the old hunting reserve, now Gran Paradiso National Park. At the beginning of the 19th century it became an hotel, one of the first and most prestigious in Cogne.
The Residence consist of 5 studio flats, 7 one-bedroom falts and a spacious two-bedroom flast, each with self-catering facilities.
