Even if you want to reach Venice Lido by car, there is line nr. 17 (ACTV ferry-boat) that leave from Tronchetto (exit Tronchetto Ferry is at the end of Ponte della Libertà and just before Piazzale Roma) to Venice Lido (S.Nicolò Ferry stop).

A travel card is the best and the less expensive solution to visit Venice, it can be used for most of Venice public transport (waterbuses and local buses).
